![]() ![]() In sha Allah, you can master Krita quickly but through an easy and enjoyable learning experience. I have carefully crafted the curriculum for convenience and speed. ![]() Because we will start from the very basics. If you have never used Krita before or even never used any graphic software such as Photoshop, Gimp, and so on. If you need software for drawing or creating illustrations, then Krita will make you feel right at home. That is why in Krita, you can find many features related to digital painting that do not exist in Photoshop. Another thing that makes Krita different from Photoshop, is that Krita is more focused on digital painting. So, you don’t need to pay anything to download and use it. But unlike Photoshop, Krita is free and open-source software. “ Krita” is a graphic application comparable to Photoshop. Here is the direct link if you want to check it out. This course is an update of the previous Krita course which was still using version 4. ![]() You may find that you've just been ignoring certain details that help an image stand out, or that your relative proportions or shapes for certain things are a bit off.īear in mind, however, overuse of any one tool for learning can quickly become a crutch, especially for a simpler device like this suggestion.Hi guys, I just published a new course on digital painting using Krita version 5.0 on Skillshare. If you have a particular artist you're fond of, another very enlightening thing to do is actually to try to copy one of their works freehand, however you would normally draw, and then do another, this time directly tracing an overlay. You may actually be better off looking less at mechanical tutorials on what this or that thing does, and more towards general art tutorials, especially centered around contrast and colors, lights and shadows, and that sort of thing. Because of this I've had an impossibly hard time finding tutorials that fit what I'm trying to find, because I genuinely don't know what I'm even looking for well enough to google it.Īre you familiar with layer blending modes? That may be the elusive "next step" you're looking for.Ī lot of the things that make more complicated drawings look better are less about knowing what tools to use and how they mechanically function, and more about knowing what you want something to look like, and finding a more optimized way to achieve that. I apologize for being really vague, but I also genuinely don't know what I need help with well enough to effectively explain what I need help with. But I also make pretty simple art and would really like to be able to branch out more. The things I've listed that I do understand are all I've needed to make the art I've been making for years. Krita has so many different tools, and 90% of them I just don't actually know what they are.ĭoes anyone know of any good tutorials that maybe break down the available tools in Krita? Or any good intermediate tutorials, not too beginner, but also not too advanced? (Honestly my ideal would be if I could find a series of tutorials that start basic and slowly get more complicated if anyone knows of anything like that) All of the tutorials I'm finding are either a) beginner tutorials that have only information that I already know, or b) more advance tutorials that will assume that I know how to do things that I don't, or skim over them very quickly. But any of the other tools I just don't know how to utilize, or honestly even know what they are or what they're good for. I know how to draw, switch brushes, add layers, change opacity. What I mean by that is while I've been making digital art for years, my knowledge of how to do digital art is VERY surface level. ![]()
